About this White Peak Whisky This is White Peak's first-ever Wire Works release fully matured in ex-bourbon barrels. It's crafted from some of the oldest casks in White Peak's warehouse, and offers a pure expression of the distillery’s character. At White Peak, every step of their whisky-making process is driven by a passion for flavour. From mashing and fermentation to yeast selection and distillation, they focus on creating a distinctive profile. The team have also formed a deep connection with the Peak District region, using fresh brewer’s yeast from friends at Thornbridge Brewery. This collaboration infuses a truly unique flavour into every bottle of Wire Works Whisky. For this release, White Peak partnered with Heaven Hills Distillery in Kentucky, sourcing first-fill ex-bourbon barrels directly from their 90-year-old family-run business. Each barrel has been carefully selected to bring out the best in the whisky, ensuring a rich, authentic experience in every sip.
