The series for Serax translates into tableware the role that the color green plays in the island’s unique aesthetic. A series of pieces captures the traditional green-painted windows and doors — and sparse, succulent vegetation — that create bursts of color in this otherworldly landscape. Each design is enriched with a unique texture — imprinted by the designer herself — that recalls volcanic formations. This breakfast set of sixteen glazed pieces comprises four starter plates, four bowls, and four cappuccino cups and four saucers. The set can be added to with dinnerware from the same collection for a harmonious, organic look.
