The double opening suggests a new way of organising flowers. The Kink vase was designed by Earnest Studio, founded by Rachel Griffin, an American-born designer based in Rotterdam. The Kink vase combines traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. The seemingly simple form was actually produced digitally. The Earnest studio explains: My starting point for the Kink vase was to explore how new shapes can be created through digital manipulation of simple forms. Kink's design thus combines modern technology with traditional ceramic craftsmanship, resulting in a piece that is both contemporary and sculptural.
