Initially designed for use in the Desert, its size proved an issue in the narrow streets of Italy and North West Europe. It entered service in 1943 in Italy and the Mk I was armed with a 37mm gun and crewed by 5. Staghounds served with all the Commonwealth forces.\nThe Staghound Mk II was a support vehicle with the 37mm replaced with a 3inch howitzer. \nThis particular kit represents a Polish Staghound Mk II from 1944\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
