The Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) truck was also sent to the Soviet Union as part of Canada's lend lease programme. \n\nThe trucks were produced in Canada in large numbers following the Allied withdrawal from Dunkirk after the BEF had been forced to leave most of their vehicles behind.
