IBG Models 1/72 38M Toldi II\nHungarian Light Tank\n20mm Scale\nNew, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : IBG72028\nThe Hugarian 38M Toldi light tank was based on the 20mm armed Swedish L-60 light tank design by AB Lansdverk. It was named after a 14th Century Hungarian knight, Mikl\u00F3s Toldi.\nThe Toldi was produced between 1939 and 1942 with 202 built in four variants. The Toldi I was the first variant and was armed with a 20mm gun. Eight Toldi I were produced. This was followed by 110 Toldi II which was armed with the same 20mm gun but carried thicker frontal armour. The weight increased from 8.5tons to 9.3tons. Later Toldi were armed with 40mm guns. \nThey entered service in 1940 and fought against Yugoslavian forces in 1941. Between 1941 and 1944 they fought against Russian forces where their light armour, armament and good communication equipment made them ideal for reconnaissance roles. \nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new g
