The Essence collection was designed in 2001 by internationally renowned designer Alfredo Häberli. The designer's goal was to offer a limited number of glasses, allowing a full range of fine wines to be enjoyed in optimal conditions. Starting from the idea that simple forms enhance the enjoyment of wine, the Essence collection presents a modern, minimalist design. Each glass is uniquely designed to optimise the taste of the drink. The stems and bases of the different glasses in the collection are identical, and the chalices have similar proportions: when placed side by side, they present a wonderful feeling of balance. The rim (part where you place your lips) is very thin: you'll forget it's there, helping to highlight the wine itself. The generous chalice stimulates the colour and aroma of the wine.
