Armaflex is a professional pipe insulation system made from flexible, closed cell, elastomeric nitrile rubber. It prevents condensation and energy loss, featuring built-in anti-microbial protection to reduce mould and bacteria growth. Its vapour barrier helps avoid condensation. Each pack contains 20 lengths, each 2m long with 48mm pipe size and 13mm wall thickness, covering a total of 40m. Its thermal conductivity is: 0.034 W/mK at 0C, 0.036 W/mK at 20C, and 0.038 W/mK at 40C. Fire performance is Class 1 with a Class 0 surface spread of flames. The sound absorption coefficient is ISO 354:2003. Ideal for hot water pipes, refrigerated pipes, ductwork, and chilled water lines, it is easy for quick installation, enduring and does not damage pipes. Dust and fiber free, it saves energy and regulates condensation, preventing frost damage and minimizing repair costs. It has acoustic benefits by reducing noise in piping systems.
