If the reactor is to be used as an algae reactor... with chaeto, removal of the sponges maybe be preferred.\n\nThe chaeto can be tied to the media trays, to keep it in place. Lighting wise for the algae, l would aim at 1m length of 5050 Waterproof (silicone covered) Leds, which should give you around 14w. Either a full daylight or a Red and Blue spectrum lighting will be fine. \n\nAlgae Capacity: 1.5litres.
