Sulphur Beads HQ. 5000mls. \n\n100 gals/ 440l - 350gals/ 1100l per 1000mls, depending on reactor type used. \n\nFor Use With Freshwater and Marine Aquariums. \n\nVery High Quality Sulphur beads. Small uniform shape and size.. allowing greater surface area of up to 100% over standard sulphur beads/ pearls A slow water feed is used to flow through the sulphur beads and allows anaerobic bacteria to grow. The bacteria then feeds on nitrates and turns the nitrate into a gas. \n\nWhen used within a Nitrate Reactor with Marine or High Ph freshwater systems, we recommend to use in conjunction with the calcium based media.... the sulphur will run at around ph6-6.5.. the calcium will buffer ph back to around ph7.8 - 8.2 depending on bio-load.\n\nRecommended to rinse media in water before use.
