This detailed map covers the north Suffolk town of Beccles. The town itself is on the west side of the map, and coverage extend eastward to Worlingham Hall. There is good coverage of the town itself, where features include Old Market, New Market, Blyburgate Street, Hungate Street, Ballygate Street, Northgate Street, Smallgate Street, Newgate Street, St Michael's church, Caxton printing works, Ingate Iron Works, railway station, engine shed and junction, malthouses, auction mart, River Waveney. Coverage extends south to Peddars Lane, north to Beccles Bridge and The Quay. On the reverse we include a commercial directory of the town in 1896.
