First To Fight 1/72 AMR35 ZT1a Light Tank\n\nFrench Light Tank\n\n20mm Scale\n\nNew, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : FTF097\n\nThe Renault AMR35 Type ZT (Automitrailleuse de Reconnaissance Renault Mod\u00E8le 35 Type ZT) was produced between 1936 and 1939 and, despite its name, was developed as a light tank to support infantry units not a reconnaissance tank. It was armed with a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun and later a 13.2mm Hotchkiss machine gun. Subsequent variants were developed as anti tank versions.\n\nThe AMR35 was developed from the earlier AMR33 and despite being on of the fastest tanks of the time was mechanically unreliable. During the Battle of France they were attached to armoured or motorised divisions with most being lost in the early days of the conflict. The Germans made use of captured vehicles for intenral security.\n\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.\n\n \n\nPlg
