Armacell's Class O Armaflex pipe insulation is made from flexible, closed cell, elastomeric nitrile rubber. It's designed for use with pipes in hot and cold water services, refrigerated pipework, ductwork, and chilled water lines. This insulation is both flexible and durable, allowing for quick installation without damage. It helps prevent frost, conserves energy, and regulates condensation, reducing costly repairs. The insulation is dust and fibre-free, with a built-in vapor barrier and anti-microbial protection to reduce mould and bacteria growth. It offers excellent fire safety performance with zero surface flame spread and aids in acoustic insulation. Available in various sizes, it has a thermal conductivity of 0.034 W/mK at 0C, 0.036 W/mK at 20C, and 0.038 W/mK at 40C. Armaflex is available in 2m lengths with various pipe sizes and wall thicknesses. Fire performance is Class 1, with a sound absorption coefficient as per ISO 354:2003..
