It could be drawn by a single horse which allowed it to accompany infantry in most terrain.\n\nThe CKM wz.30 was a Polish heavy machine gun based on the Browning M1917A1 and developed in the early 1930s. It was supplied to infantry, cavalry and armoured and motorised units. Initially it was fitted to early TKW and TKS tankettes before being replaced by older Hotchkiss wz.25 weapons. They were supsequently fitted to the Polish 7TP as well as the Vickers E in both single and twin turret variants of each tank.\n\nOver 1,700 were sent to the Republicans during the Spanish Civil War and used by both sides.
