Bring a burst of colour and flavour to your garden with the Thompson and Morgan Sweet Tasty Mix All Season Pepper Seeds, featuring a vibrant mix of horn-shaped bell peppers that thrive in full sun and are perfect for salads, grilling or stuffing. Each packet contains a carefully selected blend of Thor F1 Hybrid, Astor F1 and Black Knight F1 varieties, producing fruits up to 25cm long on branching plants that can reach up to 90cm in height. You'll find these sweet pepper seeds easy to grow, whether you choose a greenhouse or a sunny patio, and every packet comes with clear growing and care instructions to help you get the best results. Sow sweet pepper seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed sowing mix and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place seed trays in a propagator at a temperature of 18-25°C (64-77F) until germination, which takes seven to ten days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual 7.5cm pots of compost and grow on in cooler conditions. When plants are well grown, and all risk of frost has passed, transplant them into grow bags and containers, or plant them in well-prepared beds of fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Peppers may be grown undercover in a greenhouse or polytunnel, or grown outdoors in a sheltered position in full sun. When growing peppers outdoors, gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions over a period of seven to ten days prior to transplanting them. Space sweet pepper plants at a distance of 45cm apart.
