RPM 1/72 Lorraine 37L Supply Tractor 1940\n\nFrench Armoured Tractor\n\n20mm Scale\n\n \n\nBrand new, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : RPM72506\n\nA nice little kit of the much used French Lorraine chassis used as an armoured supply tractor.\n\nThese tractors were supplied to both Infantry and Tank units with four supply tractors for each of the three Companies. By the time of the German invasion of France in 1940 there were 606 in service which was still not enough to equip the French army. Around one third of French units had no supply tractors. During the Battle For France it was quickly reaslised that Lorraine 37Ls needed some sort of armament and machine guns were fitted on improvised mounts to some vehicles. Hundreds of these tractors were captured by the Germans and pressed into service as platforms for self propelled guns.\n\nAn unusual addition to any collection\n\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
